Assistant Professor - Computer Science (Tenure Track)

Serve as full-time Assistant Professor of Computer Science (tenure track) at Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio. Teach computer science courses to undergraduate students majoring in computer science. Prepare and lead classroom lectures and lab-based sessions for basic survey courses and advanced courses in programming, networking, and cyber-security, as well as advanced courses in software/app development and use, mobile computing platforms and applications, modern programming languages, and custom digital applications in research or market settings. Plan, prepare, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials. Advise, support, and mentor students to engage them in research, help identify internship sites, and build relationships with corporate partners. Collaborate with faculty to develop and continuously enhance curriculum. Administrative duties: Participate in department and university planning and operations; fulfill committee duties and general service to the local community. Minimum requirements: Masters degree in Computer Science.
