We invite applications for a non-tenure-track full-time Neyman Visiting Assistant Professor position in the Department of Statistics, at the University of California, Berkeley. The Neyman Visiting Assistant Professor position is a non-renewable two-year position (but can be shorter by mutual agreement). The Neyman Visiting Assistant Professor will be expected to engage in teaching and research and participate in seminars and lectures within the department. The expected start date is July 1, 2018 and the position has an annual nine-month salary of $70,000.

A PhD (or equivalent degree) in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is required by the time of hire. The minimum qualification to be considered an applicant for the position is the completion of all PhD or equivalent degree requirements, except the dissertation, by the time of application.
Applicants should document their experience in teaching Statistics, Mathematics or a related field at the college level. We will consider strong candidates in any area of theoretical, applied, or computational statistics, or probability, with a particular interest in computational and interdisciplinary activities.
