The Department of Economics at the University invites applications for a full-time Research Assistant Professor. This position will begin in the 2017-2018 academic year. Additionally, applicants are strongly encouraged to submit, as optional, up to three published or unpublished research papers.

Working in collaboration with a faculty member in the Economics Department, the Research Assistant Professor will conduct original research and co-author and solo-author academic publications. The Research Assistant Professor is expected to have an active role in obtaining and carrying out funded research, and will serve as Co-Investigator and independent Principal Investigator on research grants. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related field, at least five years research experience, experience in writing grant proposals, and a strong commitment to research. They must have demonstrated ability to communicate research findings clearly to multiple audiences through oral presentations and written work.
