Marketing and Business Faculty Position

The Business Program at Ave Maria University seeks applicants for a full-time faculty position (open-rank) in Marketing to begin in January or August of 2018. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. or an equivalent degree and be able to teach basic and advanced courses in marketing, including Integrated Marketing Communications, Entrepreneurial Marketing, Marketing Research, Consumer Behavior, and Advertising and Digital Marketing. Professional experience in the field is valued, as well as an interest in developing internship opportunities for students. Applicants must be familiar with Catholic social teaching and business ethics, and show an appreciation for a Catholic liberal arts education. Rank and salary are dependent on experience and credentials.

 The AMU Marketing program is new and fast-growing.  It aims to teach marketing as a profession, not a theoretical field, for which a robust and dynamic internship and job-placement program is crucial.  Students are provided with the tools and concepts of the world of business to strengthen their analytical skills.  At the same time, marketing is supported by a robust liberal arts core curriculum that instills strong intellectual habits and offers a sound view of reality that helps students to make good decisions.
