Admin Support III Audio/Video Srvcs Engineering
Position Category: Staff - Full-Time
Summary:
Oversee department procurement process including: billing, requisitioning, verifying PO's, tracking orders, staging projects and inventorying. Oversee payroll and coordinate part time employees' schedules. Oversee office and project supplies, organization and restocking. Track employee certifications, training, and career ladders. Maintain financial records and reports. Provide basic customer service for technical systems and dispatch technicians for higher level campus needs.
Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelorâs related to the Summary of Duties or any combination of education and/or experience totaling four years.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Maintain up to date knowledge of AV equipment, SLAâs and contracts.
- Ability to track, file information for the generation of reports
- Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of technology and trends
- Self-motivated and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Knowledge of hiring processes
- Ability to prepare for Financial Audits
- Knowledge of procurement processes
- Ability to provide basic phone support
- Skilled in de-escalating support problems and issues
- Skilled at maintaining information in spreadsheets
- Ability to proof read documents and public facing information
- Knowledge of scheduling practices and procedures
- Skilled at taking and reporting meeting minutes
- Ability to receive and respond to incoming calls and emails regarding AV problems with basic technical support knowledge.
- Ability to work under pressure with strong customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift over 30 pounds repeatably.
Ability to sit for long periods of time at a computer and
phone.
