VICE CHANCELLOR FOR BUSINESS AFFAIRS

The University of North Carolina Wilmington invites expressions of interest in, and nominations for, the position of Vice Chancellor for Business Affairs.

UNCW, North Carolina’s coastal University, is one of 17 constituent institutions of the University of North Carolina and is consistently recognized at a national level for academic excellence and affordability.

The Vice Chancellor for Business Affairs is the Chief Financial Officer of the University and reports to Dr. Jose V. “Zito” Sartarelli, the Chancellor of the University. The position is responsible for a staff of 480 employees and nine associate vice chancellors and directors.

The position requires a person of high integrity who is a strategically focused, visionary leader with meaningful senior leadership experience in financial management in higher education, including the management of complex budgets and integrating budget decisions and strategic planning that will ensure institutional efficiency.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an outstanding financial leader to participate meaningfully in continuing to elevate a unique, successful institution to even greater levels of accomplishment and service.

Confidential applications and nominations will be accepted until the position is filled. For best consideration, materials should be submitted by October 1, 2017, and should be directed to the University’s executive recruitment consultant:
