Professor and Associate Dean for Academic and Faculty Affairs

The Dornsife School of Public Health Drexel University seeks a dynamic and innovative leader to serve as Associate Dean for Academic and Faculty Affairs. The Associate Dean will oversee a comprehensive portfolio of educational programs at the graduate and undergraduate levels, ensuring their excellence and adherence to accreditation standards. He/she will also promote and support excellence and innovation in teaching across the School. Reporting directly to the Dean, he/she will be a key member of the leadership team playing an active role in defining and tracking progress of the strategic direction of the School.

Minimum qualifications include a PhD in public health or relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in administering educational programs within a school of public health or related field. Must have the experience and professional accomplishments required to be appointed as full professor in the tenure or teaching track.

Preferred qualifications include experience in designing and implementing new academic programs, evidence of innovation and creativity in education, knowledge of strategies for assessment of educational outcomes and program success, and demonstrated leadership skills in a collaborative environment.
