The George Washington University School of Business (GWSB) invites applications for a tenure track faculty position in the Strategic Management and Public Policy department starting as early as the Fall of 2018. The position is targeted at the Assistant Professor level. 

The candidate is expected to teach courses in business ethics at the undergraduate, graduate, or PhD level. New tenure track faculty members ordinarily have a three-course teaching load and summer support through the tenure decision.  

Our department is committed to rigorous and high-impact scholarly work from a variety of methodological and theoretical perspectives, including business ethics, corporate governance, public policy, corporate social responsibility, strategy, and organization theory. Our faculty members have published in the Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, Business Ethics Quarterly, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, and others. For the last 20 years, GWSB has been consistently ranked[1] among the top ten business schools for its research and teaching in corporate social/environmental responsibility and ethics. Basic Qualifications: Applicants for this position must have completed all requirements for the Ph.D. (or other terminal) degree in business or a closely related field by the date of appointment. Applicants must have demonstrated potential for success in scholarship as evidenced by research, teaching, and service in the areas of business ethics, strategic management, public policy, and/or corporate social responsibility.
