To support the Community College Association of Texas Trustees (CCATT) and realize the successful implementation of its strategic plan. CCATT is a 501c (6) organization serving more than 400 Board Trustees and Regents throughout Texas. 

Statement of Job:
 The Community College Association of Texas Trustees (CCATT) is a membership organization representing Board Trustees and Regents of the state’s 50 public community colleges.  Board Trustees and Regents are locally-elected officials.  The Association operates in partnership with the Texas Association of Community Colleges (TACC).
 
Reporting to the President & Chief Executive Officer of TACC and working in collaboration with the Board Chair of CCATT, the Director of Trustee Strategies manages the day-to-day operations of the Association.  The Director manages ongoing programs and develops new strategies for implementation of the Association’s strategic plan.  
 
The Director’s primary responsibilities include: (1) building Trustee/Regent capacity through professional development; (2) optimizing Board Trustee/Regent engagement and the Association’s reach to its members; (3) supporting the Association’s Board leadership, inclusive of Board committees; and (4) connecting the CCATT Board and members to the ongoing legislative issues, strategies and tactics coordinated by TACC.
 
The ideal candidate will have an acute sense of curiosity and passion for serving others, demonstrate experience in program development and management, be highly skilled in organizational and planning methods, and must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
