Candidates are invited to apply for a tenure-track appointment as an Assistant Professor in Political Science in Comparative Politics (specialization open) beginning fall semester, of the 2018-2019 academic year. Weber State University is a Comprehensive Regional University with 26,000 students, located in Ogden, Utah, in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains. 

The candidate who is hired will have the opportunity to shape the Comparative Politics curriculum. Standard Teaching load is four courses a semester, with opportunities for course load reductions.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates with a PhD are preferred, but ABDs will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior teaching experience, including an ability to teach an intro level American Government and/or Intro to Political Science course is a plus.
