The Department of Sociology at New York University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. Area of specialization is open. Responsibilities include research, undergraduate and graduate teaching. Position is to begin September 1, 2018, pending budgetary and administrative approval.
Candidates should have an active program of research in progress that may encompass a variety of methodological approaches. Evidence of an active program might include dissertation chapters, working papers, or publications. A strong commitment to teaching undergraduates and PhD students is essential.
