Duties and Responsibilities
The School of Public Health at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans (LSUHSC-N.O.) is seeking applicants for an open rank faculty position in its Behavioral and Community Health Sciences program.
The successful candidate will participate in student mentoring and advising, teach behavioral and community health courses, collaborate with researchers, and establish independent, externally funded practice and/or research projects.
Minimum Qualifications
A doctoral degree (PhD, DrPH) in a relevant behavioral health science
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or expertise in applied behavioral theory, health promotion, community health, health disparities, behavioral policy, and use of a social-ecological framework are of particular interest, but other areas of focus will be considered.
Salary
Faculty appointment level and salary will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications.
