The College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience is looking for a full‐time faculty member to join the Department as an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine. This position will support the University’s mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities.

 

The Department is dedicated to high quality medical student and resident education, excellence in patient care and is committed to advancing the science in Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences through clinical trials and ongoing collaborative research. The rank of the appointment is open and will be commensurate with the experience and professional accomplishments of the selected applicants.

 

The position will provide direct patient care primarily at our West Chester campus. Responsibilities will include providing inpatient psychiatric consultations, seeing patients in the emergency service, and outpatient visits through the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience. This position will also include teaching at various University of Cincinnati Health facilities, hospitals and other local health care systems.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

MD/DO with an Ohio License. Candidate must be board certified/board eligible as a Psychiatrist with demonstrated experience or interest in providing inpatient psychiatric consultation, emergency services, and outpatient services.
