The Culverhouse College of Commerce at The University of Alabama invites applications for two faculty positions at the Associate or Full Professor levels in Management Information Systems (MIS) in the Department of Information Systems, Statistics, and Management Science starting August 16, 2018. Candidates should have research interests and teaching experience, in the areas of Information Security or Healthcare MIS. For both positions, applicants are expected to have a demonstrated record of cross-disciplinary, high-quality research. Applicants with a track record of externally funded research are strongly preferred. Preference will also be given to applicants with a successful record of teaching in MIS at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and relevant professional experience. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and achievements. Prior to hiring, the candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment background investigation.
