Director of Health Sciences Inter-Professional Research

The University of Bridgeport announces a leadership opportunity for the Director of Health Sciences Inter-Professional Research. This newly created role is a 10-month position and will provide leadership direction for growth of the college’s research and scholarship programs in the health science fields. The position will report to the Vice President for Health Sciences in consultation with the Senior Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research.

An earned PhD or terminal degree in the health sciences is required. Degrees must be from accredited institutions. Candidate must have a track record of a sustainable program of clinical research with a previous federal funding history. A proven ability to mentor junior faculty must be evident on the curriculum vitae through collaborative works, such as senior authored publications.
