Methodist University, a growing private liberal arts institution with both a well-established Biology major and several allied health programs, is seeking candidates for a one year Visiting Assistant Professor position in Anatomy and Physiology to start in August 2017.   The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II.   We offer these courses in two tracks, one primarily for our pre-nursing students, the other designed for Biology majors planning to apply for graduate programs in one of the health sciences.  A PhD in an area of Biology providing support for the material covered in these classes is preferred.   ABD candidates and candidates with strong master’s degree preparation will be considered.

The successful candidate will teach Anatomy and Physiology I and II courses in both tracks, along with the possibility of introductory Biology or additional upper level courses in their area of expertise.  A commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching is expected.
