The Department of Economics at the University of Chicago invites applications for one or more part-time Lecturer positions for one or more quarters during the 2017-2018 academic year. The successful applicant(s) will teach one or more quarter-length classes in: introductory econometrics, which provides both an introduction to econometric theory and an introduction to applied econometrics using standard software packages (STATA or R preferred); intermediate microeconomics, with an emphasis on the theory of the firm, equilibrium (including basic game theory), monopoly, oligopoly, public goods, externalities, and asymmetric information; and/or other course, as assigned.

The successful applicant(s) will also advise students during office hours each week. Qualifications for appointment include a demonstrated record of excellent teaching in an intermediate level economics course. Applicants must have a completed Ph.D. and teaching experience.
