The Department of Architecture within the College of Design at Iowa State University (ISU) in Ames Iowa, is seeking applicants for a full-time position at the rank of Lecturer in the area of Architecture Design with a specialization in Material and Assemblies in the area of Science & Technology.

This position teaches beginning and advanced design studios and large scale lectures in the areas of materials at assemblies from a multi-cultural perspective at all levels of the science and technology curriculum in both the Architectural undergraduate and graduate programs.

Required Education and Expirience: Master of Architecture (MArch) or equivalent professional degree in related field OR Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) + 2 years professional practice experience

Preferred Education and Expirience: 

• Knowledge of teaching architecture design studio or related courses within higher education
• Demonstrated evidence of national and/or international design recognition
• Award winning professional practice experience
