Lecturer - English (Creative Writing)

The State University of New York at Fredonia is searching for two Lecturers in multi-genre creative writing for the 2017-2019 academic years. Lecturers will support our Creative Writing Minor by teaching 4/4 schedules that include introductory, intermediate, and advanced undergraduate fiction and/or poetry workshops; Creative Non-Fiction, Form and Theory, and Literary Publishing courses; and existing or new courses in other genres. Lecturers' professional obligation includes departmental service, which encompasses advising students and student organizations, serving on a department committee, and contributing to departmental efforts to design a new writing major. Candidates with experience in editing a literary journal, organizing a visiting writers series, teaching literature, and/or teaching in genres other than fiction or poetry are encouraged to apply.
