Qualifications:

• Hold a Master’s degree in Biology from a regionally accredited college or university or a Master’s degree in any field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Biology from a regionally accredited college or university by appointment date

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous community college teaching experience
• Ability to teach in Microbiology
• Digital literacy

General Function:

Motlow State Community College, the fastest growing college in Tennessee, is seeking energetic and student-focused Biology faculty to teach Biology at the Smyrna Campus and Dual Enrollment sites. Candidates must be willing to work at alternate campus locations.  Motlow State Community College offers day, afternoon, night, weekend, online, hybrid, and accelerated courses at four campuses to approximately 5,200 students.
