All positions require a PhD in psychology, or a related field, by the appointment date.  All areas of specialization will be considered with successful candidates showing commitment to and demonstrating excellence in undergraduate and graduate instruction.

Experience

The Department of Psychology, Brigham Young University, invites applications for professors of any academic rank to fill full-time (continuing faculty status track) positions in the Psychology Department to begin August 2018.

The selected candidates will demonstrate strong research skills and an active research program with an established record for or strong promise of peer-reviewed publication and scholarly productivity.

We seek applicants in 1) Applied Social Psychology, 2) Cognitive Psychology, 3) Behavioral Neuroscience and Developmental Neuroscience, 4) Developmental Psychology and 5) Clinical Psychology.

Psychology faculty at BYU have access to the research-dedicated MRI at the BYU MRI Research Facility, which houses a state-of-the-art 3T MRI scanner supporting functional and structural neuroimaging.
