Qualifications:

Applicant must hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science from a regionally accredited college or university or a Master’s degree in any field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Computer Science from a regionally accredited college or university by appointment date.  Preference will be given to candidate with an additional 18 graduate hours in Business, Accounting, or Information Systems and course work or experience in cyber security.

 

General Function:

Motlow State Community College is seeking an energetic and student-focused Computer Science faculty member to teach at its Smyrna and other campuses.  Motlow State Community College offers day, afternoon, night, weekend, online, hybrid, and accelerated courses at four campuses.  The faculty member will conduct classes in compliance with Department of Business and Technology and Motlow policy.  They will work as part of a team to maintain academic integrity, and curriculum development.  Faculty teach a minimum of 15 credit hours per fall and spring semesters.
