Instructor of John Deere

This is an instructional position teaching John Deere Equipment Maintenance classes. The instructor presents course materials, prepares course tests and skills tests, grades the tests, supervises students in a laboratory environment, collaborates with other John Deere instructors, checks on student interns’ progress at the dealerships, advises students in the program, and performs recruiting functions for the program.
Essential job duties and responsibilities include:
*Instruction of and preparing for presentation of course materials and objectives.
*Advising Students/Recruiting Students/Dealer Interaction.
*Laboratory setup/teardown.
*Test preparation/ Grading. or assigned.

Required Education and/or Experience
Associate’s Degree with 3 years of work experience in relevant field.

Preferred Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree
3-years work experience in a John Deere Dealership
Post-secondary teaching or industry training experience
Familiarity with John Deere Service Advisor
John Deere Core Certified
