Lab Technologist III - Department of Physics & Astronomy

The Physics and Astronomy Department's instrument shop at Clemson University is seeking to hire a Machinist to support its research and education programs. Associate Degree in Machine Tool Technology with 3-5 years' work experience. May except 10+ years of R&D machining experience in place of degree. Must be able to operate CNC mills, lathes, and CAM programming software. MIG and TIG welding experience and knowledge of material alloy as well as plastics and MACOR ceramics also a plus.
