The National Science Foundation (NSF) Directorate for Engineering seeks candidates for Deputy Division Director positions in the following divisions:
- Division of Electrical, Communications and Cyber Systems (ECCS) https://www.nsf.gov/div/index.jsp?div=eccs
- Division of Chemical, Bioengineering, Environmental and Transport Systems (CBET) https://www.nsf.gov/eng/cbet/about.jsp
Appointment to these Senior Executive Service (SES) positions may
be on a career appointment or a one- to three-year SES limited-term
basis with a salary range of $163,519 to $179,600.
Successful candidates will possess an established record of significant achievement in research administration as well as leadership responsibility in academe, industry or government. In addition to having a strong record of research and education accomplishments within his or her technical communities, the Deputy Division Director must be experienced and competent in technical, financial, and administrative management. He/she must work well with people, be an effective communicator, and act as a mentor to continuously develop the diversity of talents and skills of his or her colleagues at all levels.
