POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director of Admissions Marketing and Enrollment Management, the Associate Director of Undergraduate International Admissions is responsible for oversight of all aspects of international recruitment and admissions.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
* The analysis of past international enrollment and the development of strategies and goals for the following year with the Director of Admissions Marketing and Enrollment Management.
* Oversight of the evaluation of foreign credentials, including working with WES when necessary, and calculation of GPAs.
* Hiring and training of temporary staff (per diem counselors, graduate students, temporary workers) to evaluate credentials, make students complete, contact incomplete students.
* Coordinate personal international travel including contacting foreign schools to set up visit programs.
* Coordinate with Office for International Affairs to assist in completion of I-20 requests from deposited students.
* Coordinate with Intensive English programs to support students in their transition from English programs in to the degree programs.
* Oversee the processing of international applications through every status verifying accurate data entry and movement to completion for a decision.
* Running Business Objects reports weekly on international applicants with receipt of documents to focus the processing priorities.
* Presentations at information sessions using power point.
* Oversight of Vericant and coordination with VP for Enrollment on students with low English scores.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Education: Undergraduate degree in art, design, or architecture required. Master’s degree preferred.
* Experience: Minimum three years of experience in higher education admissions, at least two years in international admissions. At least one year of supervisory experience desired.

Knowledge and Skills:
* Working knowledge of international credential evaluation.
* Experience and comfort traveling internationally.
* Knowledge of and familiarity with Microsoft Suite applications.
* Experience with database management, electronic admissions systems, and business reports highly desirable.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Under general supervision.
* Considerable latitude for independent action and judgment.
* Minimal supervision.
