Methodist University is seeking candidates for a full-time, tenure-track position in the Department of Justice Studies. The position is to begin in August of 2017.
The successful candidate will serve as an assistant professor in justice studies program and will be active in both the undergraduate and graduate program. Responsibilities will include teaching, advising, and scholarship, as well as university and community service. Topics to be taught include: criminology, corrections, victimology, research methods, statistics, and senior seminar.
Qualifications. Ph.D. preferred, ABD considered. Prior teaching and/or training experience preferred. A law degree is not considered a terminal degree for this position.
