Visiting Assistant Professor - Civil and Environmental Engineering

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at Bucknell University seeks applicants for a one-year visiting assistant professor position starting in August 2017. The application materials of successful candidates will

1. Articulate their plans to provide outstanding classroom instruction in courses in engineering planning and project management (including topics related to feasibility studies, decision making, engineering economic analysis, and project management skills) and construction management.
2. Describe how he or she will be able to contribute more broadly to the civil engineering curriculum by teaching other common civil engineering courses.
3. Describe how he or she will be able to work successfully with a diverse student body.

At time of appointment, candidates are expected to have an earned doctorate or be ABD in civil engineering or a closely-related engineering field, or have substantial professional experience.
