Reporting to the Dean of Enrollment Management, the Director is responsible for managing the Office of Admission and has operational oversight for recruitment and admission for the new domestic student population. The Director provides strategic, innovative leadership, developing enrollment goals aligned with the revenue objectives and student success initiatives of the college.

Duties

Manage professional staff and administrative staff of 11 individuals
Oversee the recruitment and admission efforts for each incoming undergraduate class
Assist in the development and implementation of strategic enrollment goals
Meet with prospective Seaver College students and families
Host recruitment events (on and off campus) for prospective students
Serve on various university committees
Provide high level understanding and insight into various University processes, procedures, and systems
Manage the operating budget
Perform other duties as assigned
Uphold University mission through work performed

Skills and Qualifications

Required:Masters degree required. Five years progressively responsible experience in college admission office required. Proven management and supervisory skills; strong written and oral communication; budget management; ability to make analytical, data-driven decisions. MS Office Suite; Salesforce and PeopleSoft end-user familiarity required.

Preferred: Graduate degree in Education, Higher Education, Business, or related field strongly preferred. More than five years of progressively responsible experience in a highly selective college admission office preferred. Collaborative leadership style; familiarity with Seaver College, strong knowledge of the field of higher education; statistical analysis ability preferred.

This is a regular, exempt, 40 hour per week position.
