Methodist University, a growing private liberal arts institution with both a strong Biology program and several allied health programs, is seeking candidates to fill the position of Visiting Assistant Professor of Microbiology for the 2017-2018 academic year.   A Ph.D. in some area of Microbiology is required.   ABD candidates will be considered.  Prior microbiology teaching experience is desirable.

The successful candidate will teach General Microbiology and Introductory Biology during the 2017-18 academic year.  A commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching is expected.
