Vice-Chancellor and President
The University of Melbourne has started a global search for its next Vice-Chancellor and President to succeed Professor Glyn Davis who will complete his term of office in December 2018. The University is one of the world’s foremost universities, having built its exceptional profile through a commitment to the betterment of society by research, learning and teaching.
This is an outstanding opportunity to lead the University in its
next chapter, to enhance its quest for excellence and to pursue the
University’s commitment to social engagement, intellectual rigour

The next Vice-Chancellor will be a determined and inspirational
leader of high intellectual standing who can demonstrate his or her
ability to lead an institution to new levels of achievement and who
is committed to the mission, principles and values of the
University.
The successful candidate will have a global perspective, an
outstanding ability to engage with diverse communities and a clear
vision for the future of the University, its academic aspirations
and its ability to create economic, social and cultural value.
