Compliance Officer
Position Number 009376
The Research Compliance Officer will develop, implement, and administer policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations for the use of human subjects in research. This position reports to the Director of Research Compliance in the Division of Research and Economic Development.
The Division of Research and Economic Development (DORED) manages N.C. A&T’s research enterprise. DORED provides services to faculty and student researchers, to current and potential research partners, funding agencies, and economic development agencies. It is headed by the Vice Chancellor for Research and Economic Development.
The Office of Research Compliance and Ethics serves as a liaison for researchers, study participants, federal agencies, and the research review committees to ensure the efficient and ethical conduct of research at NCA&TSU.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree and 2 years’ experience in research compliance and managing IRB committees.
Preferred: Master’s degree and 3 years or more experience in research compliance in a University setting; Certified in IRB related areas; Experience using electronic compliance systems.
