Assistant Professor of Accounting

Rutgers University–Camden School of Business seeks applications for a tenure-track Accounting position at the Assistant Professor level starting Fall 2018. Candidates must show evidence (or strong potential) of quality scholarly research and effective teaching. Applicants with ABDs will be considered. Applicants must have earned a PhD or completed all degree requirements for his/her PhD in Accounting by the appointment date which is July 1, 2018.  The position entails primary emphasis on teaching in the areas of Tax, Financial and/or Managerial accounting (both at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels) at multiple sites using traditional and online formats. Expertise and interest in online instruction is welcome, but not required. Salary and research support are competitive. This position is subject to budget and academic approval.

The Rutgers-Camden campus is located in southern New Jersey just across the Delaware River from downtown Philadelphia, with easy access to Atlantic City, New York, and Washington D.C. The campus serves over 6,500 students in undergraduate, graduate and PhD programs with the School of Business serving over 1,500 undergraduate and graduate students.
