The University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) invites applications and nominations for the position of Dean of the College of Business and Public Policy. The position will report to the Provost and have a start date of Summer 2018.

Located in Alaska’s largest city, The University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) is the state’s largest postsecondary institution. UAA is a comprehensive university, with a main campus in Anchorage, four community campuses in Southcentral Alaska, and several extension sites in rural communities and on military installations. It is part of the University of Alaska (UA), a statewide system with three major campuses and 12 community campuses. Businessweek.com has ranked Anchorage as the 10th-best city in America. 

The UAA College of Business and Public Policy (CBPP) is a dynamic academic resource that serves and reflects Anchorage, which is Alaska’s largest metropolitan community. Accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the College has an impressive faculty who bring a wide range of academic and industry expertise to students and community partners. The CBPP is united in a common desire to help Alaska prepare for the future. The College offers several degree programs: Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA); Bachelor of Arts (BA); Master of Business Administration (MBA); Master of Public Administration (MPA); and Master of Science in Global Supply Chain Management (MSGSCM). In addition to its Baccalaureate and Graduate degree programs, the College has Associate degrees in Accounting, Business Computer Information Systems, Logistics and Supply Chain Operations and Small Business Administration.
