The Department of Neurology at Emory University School of Medicine seeks to hire an Assistant Professor for development of, and participation in, the education program of the Department of Neurology, Division of Epilepsy that includes classroom teaching, didactics, educational activities, training programs, grand rounds, conference leadership, participation in departmental functions and participating in clinical research projects. Additional clinical responsibilities will include providing inpatient care (EMU, ICU, EEG, and Intracranial Monitoring), outpatient care, Intraoperative Monitoring, and night/weekend call.   Preference will be given to applicants who have a combined and integrated interest in teaching, clinical and research activities. Candidates should have board certifications/eligibility in Neurology, and be eligible to obtain medical licensure within the State of Georgia.   The Neurology Department at Emory University is compiled of a large group of internationally renowned faculty specializing in Parkinson's and other movement disorders, stroke, sleep, epilepsy, dizzy and balance problems, nerve and muscle diseases, Alzheimer's disease and other cognitive disorders, neuro-intensive care, neuro-rehabilitation, neuro-oncology, and neuro-ophthalmology.
