The University of California, Davis, School of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism is recruiting for two full-time academic positions at the Assistant/Associate Professor level in the Health Sciences Clinical (HSCP) series. Appointee to the HSCP is required to teach, participate in University service, and provide direct patient care and work collaboratively with a diverse group of endocrinologists in the inpatient and outpatient clinical care setting.

Endocrine Faculty responsibilities include inpatient consultation and outpatient clinical care; teaching medical students, residents, and fellows; university/public service; and regular attendance and participation at scheduled meetings and CME activities. The incumbent will be expected to provide expert clinical care in the fields of general endocrinology and diabetes.

Candidates must have MD or DO degree, be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, and be eligible for medical licensure in the State of California. Preference will be given to individuals with strong clinical skills and commitment in diabetes. Duties include outpatient care in diabetes and general endocrinology, inpatient consultation service, and teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows.
