Asst/Assoc Professor of Anesthesiology (tenure track). Veterinarian with advanced training in anesthesiology. Board certification or eligibility by the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia or the European College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia is required. PhD or advanced training in research is preferred. Clinical experience and competence in veterinary anesthesiology is required. Demonstrated aptitude/experience in teaching is required. Documented research record or potential to develop an independent research program in anesthesiology or pain management is required. Must possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work with others in a collegial team atmosphere. The position includes a 50% clinical effort assignment to the Anesthesiology Service of the William R. Pritchard Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH).
