The Department of Computer Science at the University of Dayton invites applications for two positions of Tenure Track Assistant Professor starting January 1, 2018. This will further establish a core faculty in the areas of cybersecurity and interactive media to continue to expand our undergraduate/graduate curriculum and to offer new graduate programs. We seek an expert committed to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education who also has a focus on research. The individual holding this position is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, advise students, and pursue an externally funded research program.


Required: Candidates must have completed all course work needed for a Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related field. Candidates should have potential for quality teaching, potential for scholarly research in cybersecurity or interactive media; committed to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education with a focus on research.
Preferred: Ph.D. in Computer Science; research or professional experience in cybersecurity or interactive media.
