Professor of Islamic Studies

The Department of Religious Studies at Stanford University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor, a tenured Associate Professor or a tenured Full Professor faculty position in any area of Islamic Studies.  The successful applicant must demonstrate substantial evidence of creativity and excellence in research and scholarship as well as a commitment to excellence in teaching and advising students at both graduate and undergraduate levels.  This is an open-rank search, with a preference for scholars at the level of associate or full professor. For full consideration, applications must be received by September 15, 2017.
