The Department of Anatomy at Midwestern University, Glendale, Arizona, invites applications for one full-time tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. Ph.D., or equivalent degree is required. 

Departmental teaching responsibilities include team-taught courses in the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, with secondary responsibilities in the Colleges of Dentistry, Optometry, Health Sciences, and Veterinary Medicine. Courses include:  gross anatomy, neuroscience, histology, and embryology. Previous teaching experience in gross anatomy is strongly preferred, and additional teaching experience in histology or neuroscience is highly desirable. 

Faculty are expected to develop a productive research program with the potential to attract extramural funding. Startup funds are available. Departmental research strengths include: comparative and functional morphology of vertebrates, vertebrate paleontology, biological anthropology, and developmental and comparative neuroscience.
