California State University Channel Islands is pleased to invite applications for a Director of Undergraduate Studies. Under the supervision of the Associate Vice President for Academic Programs and Planning, the Director of Undergraduate Studies assists with General Education and undergraduate program development and revision, promotes efforts to advance High Impact Practices such as Learning Communities, Peer Mentoring and undergraduate research in the curriculum, oversees the University Studies academic unit and the Undergraduate Studies program analyst, and generally supports university efforts at promoting student success, academic planning and program and curricular development. Earned doctorate from an accredited institution. Qualification for a faculty appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor in one of the University’s academic programs and commitment to shared governance. Knowledge and competence in academic planning and curriculum development and assessment as well as pedagogy and high impact practices.
