William James College has an opening for a full-time core faculty position in the Organizational and Leadership Psychology Department.  Rank is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:  Core faculty members are involved in teaching, advising, and supervising students doing organizational assessment and intervention work and research.  Additionally, there is the expectation of governance committee work.  All core faculty are encouraged to continue their consulting activities and scholarly productivity.  This faculty position is located in Newton, Massachusetts at William James’ main campus.  This position is half teaching and half directing the Field Placement Program for the OLP department.  As the Field Placement Director, you will be responsible for creating and nurturing relationships with both not-for-profit and for-profit organizations in need of organizational development help.  You will also place, track, and monitor student progress through their practicum hours and offer training and guidance to field site supervisors. 

Qualifications:  Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Management or Leadership Psychology, have 2 years teaching experience, and 7+ years of work in organizations in an organizational development, talent management, or human resources as an internal or external consultant.
