The College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience at the University of Cincinnati is inviting applications to fill a faculty position. The successful candidate will join our team of international leaders committed to advancing the diagnosis and treatment of behavioral disorders. The rank of the appointment (Instructor/Assistant/Associate/Professor) is open and will be commensurate with the experience and professional accomplishments of the selected applicant.

We are seeking an Addiction Medicine Physician or Addiction Psychiatrist to join our dynamic and rapidly expanding Addiction Sciences Division. The Addiction Sciences Division includes a robust set of clinical services (including outpatient, intensive outpatient, methadone, perinatal, and hospital consult services), research activities (centered around the Ohio Valley NIDA Clinical Trials Network), and teaching opportunities (including fellowships in both Addiction Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine). New faculty members will join a collaborative and growing department with a strong research emphasis, as well as recognition from the Best Doctors in America and Top Doctors in Cincinnati.

The successful candidate can anticipate outstanding salary and benefits, paid malpractice insurance, and the potential for a start-up package and sign-on bonus. Relocation is available to candidates moving to the Cincinnati area.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the growth of the department as a clinician and educator. Experience in clinical research is desirable but not required. All applicants must possess an MD or MD/PhD, and be either board certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine or board eligible/board certified in Addiction Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
