The Department of Physics at the University of Cincinnati invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level to work in the area of Elementary Particle Theory. The selected candidates will be expected to bridge the fields of flavor physics and collider physics, and will complement and invite collaboration with our particle physics group, whose interests include flavor physics, dark matter, and cosmology. The candidates are expected to establish an excellent research program, to acquire external funding to support it, and to provide high quality teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.

The minimum requirements for this position are a doctoral degree in Physics and two years of research experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow/Scientific Researcher, which must include work in particle theory with emphasis on flavor physics and dark matter. Additional requirements include ten publications in main refereed journals for particle physics and a record of national and international presentations, including 5 invited talks at conferences, at least one being an international conference, and 5 invited seminars.
