A Lecturer is a twelve-month, full-time employee who teaches 39 credits per year and provides student and learning support services during the assigned periods. The Lecturer holds a strong commitment to teaching; maintains office and advising hours for students; actively participates in the university community; and does related work as required. This is a non-tenure track position that may be renewed on an annual basis. Teaching assignments and related responsibilities may include day, evening, weekend and online courses. Interest or experience in using advanced instructional technologies to improve the teaching/learning process is highly desirable. Courses may be taught at the Union campus and/or Kean Ocean in Toms River, New Jersey or other locations. Positions are effective for the fall semester.

School of Communication Disorders and Deafness
To teach courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.  Non-teaching hours will be devoted to advising students and assisting with program review/development. The Lecturer must demonstrate a commitment to program, school and university advancement. Master’s degree in a related field and a minimum of one year of teaching experience at the post-secondary level is required. A doctorate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field is preferred.
