Position Summary

Denver Law invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of the Practice of Law within the Forge Innovation Project, a cross-disciplinary initiative at the University of Denver (DU) that provides legal, business, and technical counseling to Colorado-based start-ups and small businesses. The Forge forms the experiential component of Project X-ITE (http://www.projectxite.org/), a novel cross-disciplinary initiative at DU focused on innovation and entrepreneurship. As a teaching fellow Denver Law’s Community Economic Development (CED) Clinic, the successful applicant will work closely with the Director of the CED Clinic to provide legal representation to clients and to supervise interdisciplinary teams of graduate and professional students providing such representation. The initial appointment is for one year, with a desired start date of June 1, and the possibility of renewal for a second year based on funding availability and performance in the position.
