Loyola Marymount University (LMU), Los Angeles, CA invites nominations and applications for the position of Dean of the College of Business Administration.

The AACSB accredited College of Business Administration (CBA) prepares students to lead and
serve in organizations and communities utilizing their competence, values, ethics and stewardship.  

As teacher-scholars, faculty pursue excellence in teaching and conduct scholarship that enhances student learning and advances academic and business knowledge. The 1,750 students, 65 full-time faculty and a complement of part-time faculty are encouraged to balance creativity with reasoning to develop compelling approaches to advancing the interests of both industry and society. With nationally ranked programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, including in accounting, marketing, entrepreneurship and the MBA programs, the CBA is home to a diverse, inclusive and collaborative academic community that fosters lifelong intellectual inquiry.

The dean serves as the chief academic and administrative officer for the CBA and reports to the Provost and Executive Vice President. She/he will help craft and implement the College’s next strategic plan as well as continue to enhance connections between the College and the local community. The most qualified candidate will be an experienced leader who understands the academic community, possesses  a graduate degree in business or a related field, values and promotes excellence in research, teaching  and service, communicates effectively, has strong leadership skills, is interested in and enthusiastic about fundraising, and is attracted to and appreciates LMU’s mission and Jesuit educational tradition.
