Physical Therapy: Assistant/Associate Professor Position in Physical Therapy. The Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at The George Washington University invites applications for a full-time (12 month), non-tenure track faculty position to be filled at the rank of assistant or associate professor. Our Program is located in a state-of-the-art facility in the heart of Washington, DC and provides a dynamic academic environment that fosters collaborative educational and research initiatives and interprofessional approaches to training health care professionals. Responsibilities include teaching focused on management of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal dysfunction; development of an active research agenda; engagement in program, university, community and professional service; and mentoring students, postprofessional residents, and fellows. Salary and rank are commensurate with experience and qualifications. A competitive benefits package is provided. Basic Requirements:An academic or clinical doctorate with advanced credentials or certification in areas of responsibility at the time of appointment. Licensed, or eligible for licensure, to practice physical therapy in the District of Columbia.
