Emory University’s Oxford College invites applications for a
tenure-track appointment as Assistant
Professor of Art History and Studio Arts to begin August
2017. Requirements for the appointment are a
demonstrated record of undergraduate teaching excellence, evidence
of the ability to engage students and colleagues in the experience
of visual arts, and a commitment to the development of the art
program of Oxford College.
The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Art History with expertise in the art of Ancient Mediterranean Civilizations and the ability to teach survey courses in western and non-western art, upper level courses in the art and architecture of ancient Mediterranean cultures, and one studio course in the visual arts.

Teaching responsibilities are three courses per semester.
