Clover Park Technical College in Lakewood, Washington announces its search for the next Vice President for Student Success (


The Vice President for Student Success is a key leader in fostering responsiveness; maintaining a focus on excellence in all student support services; and providing leadership, inspiration, management, and guidance for the College's student success functions. The VPSS will provide vision for the programs that enhance the student experience at the College, build partnerships, set benchmarks, develop best practices, and spearhead collaborative efforts across all divisions of the College.


The successful candidate will possess:

  • A master's degree in student development, counseling, educational leadership, business or related field (a doctorate in a related field is preferred), and
  • A minimum of seven years of student affairs/services experience in a higher education environment (a two-year institution or technical college is preferred), with a record of progressively increasing responsibility in one or more of the areas this position will oversee, and
  • A minimum of five years of higher education leadership experience, including supervising staff, managing budgets, and strategic planning.
